MINING HERITAGE SERIES PRODUCTION
Born in Northern Ontario, daughter of a miner and knowing the life of a mining family, creating realistic watercolors of local mine landscapes has been a pleasant experience for me. Rocks water and trees; that is the beauty of rugged Northern Ontario.
I am proud of The Timmins Heritage Series and the publication of the WHITNEY TISDALE Book of Ink Sketches "Then and Now" Volume One
Volume Two will be released at a later date.
I see alot of happiness in the people of Northern Ontario and alot of pride in our community. As an artist I try to do my part to preserve the memories of the Porcupine Mining Camp.

TIMMINS HERITAGE SERIES

THE TIMMINS HERITAGE SERIES COLLECTION
The Timmins Heritage Series is a collection of Local Mining Landmarks, Mining Headframes and Historical Landmarks. The first image was that of the Hollinger Houses titled "Spring on Mountjoy", The Green Fence "Hollinger Ball Park" was painted to honor our local Baseball and the green fence that surrounded the ball park since the 30's, The Northern Light, a tribute to Shania Twain, and our true north,
The Timmins Heritage Series is available in reproduction format, in different sizes and can be printed as giclee or standard reproduction. There are over 50 images now in this series and 3 of these appear on the Timmins 100th Anniversary Wine Labels.

The Whitney Tisdale Book of Ink Sketches was produced to Celebrate our 100th Anniversary and was launched at the Roland Michener Secondary School Reunion.
This publication features local historical sites and well known establishments. After the book was published in ink, these images were then watercolor painted, therefore each image in the book is additionally available in watercolor reproduction.
In 2011 the Whitney Tisdale Book of Ink Sketches was revised to include a Special Additon " A photo Tour of the Airport Hotel" and an interview with Elva and Al.
